Jennifer Garner was born in Houston, Texas, on 17 April of 1972 to Bill and Pat. She grew up as the middle child, but had plenty of attention and describes herself during her youth as a band geek although she studied ballet as well for nearly a decade. After graduating from Denison University she tried her luck at acting and immediately landed a role as an understudy on a stage production. She slowly found her way to television with small roles on shows like Spin City, but nothing stuck until she landed the lead on the hit Alias. In 2005 she married Ben Affleck with whom she now has two children, and she has become one of the most bankable actresses in Hollywood.
